April 29th, 2023 "Everly's Reading Trail"
UWDC are proud to have partnered with the Odon Winklepleck Library for a reading trail at Odon Park in Everly's honor!
UWDC funded $6000.00 towards this project.
Children can enjoy reading a new book each season. When completing , they can answer story questions through a QR code or visit the library. If answered correctly they'll receive a fun prize!

UWDC and the Odon Winkelpleck Public Library have partnered up to implement a reading trail at Odon Park! UWDC has fully funded this project and it's expected to be completed by next month!
Children will be able to follow along with the story and engage back with the library through story book questions, activities, and prizes! We can't wait to see the finished project!

We are proud to announce that we were able to secure $20,000 to go towards the All-Inclusive Playground at Long Fellow Park! We have partnered up with Comforting Hearts to make this project happen and the best part about it is our funds will be matched dollar for dollar through another grant they've received!

Daviess Community Hospistal's chili cookoff event for Campaign 2022. The hospital raised $5,000 in employee giving and events, plus $2,000 for their corporate gift.

Our Safety and Awareness program has served over 50 seniors, providing resources such as sharps containers, medication lock boxes, deactivation kits, and brochures with helpful information inside.
The City of Washington, City of Odon, and law enforcement have attended sessions with us to share their insight and expertise with the groups.
We've received nearly 100% positive feedback about the program. Seniors reported that they learned something new that they didn't know before the safety…
