We had nearly 20 business partners come out to the coordinator luncheon to prepare for their internal campaign efforts!

Perdue Farms held their Campaign kickoff on September 12th!  They provided games, lunch, and raffle prizes to those who contributed towards the United Way Campaign!  Thank you Perdue for your efforts and community support!  Perdue is one of our top contributors in the county! 

Our Making a Difference recipient is Mary Smith from Our Community Foundation!  Thank you WAMW and Walmart for helping to sponsor the award and for your partnerships!

We had over 700 volunteers participate!

April 29th, 2023 "Everly's Reading Trail" UWDC are proud to have partnered with the Odon Winklepleck Library for a reading trail at Odon Park in Everly's honor! UWDC funded $6000.00 towards this project. Children can enjoy reading a new book each season.  When completing , they can answer story questions through a QR code or visit the library. If answered correctly they'll receive a fun prize!

UWDC and the Odon Winkelpleck Public Library have partnered up to implement a reading trail at Odon Park!  UWDC has fully funded this project and it's expected to be completed by next month!   Children will be able to follow along with the story and engage back with the library through story book questions, activities, and prizes!  We can't wait to see the finished project! 

We are proud to announce that we were able to secure $20,000 to go towards the All-Inclusive Playground at Long Fellow Park! We have partnered up with Comforting Hearts to make this project happen and the best part about it is our funds will be matched dollar for dollar through another grant they've received!

Daviess Community Hospistal's chili cookoff event for Campaign 2022.  The hospital raised $5,000 in employee giving and events, plus $2,000 for their corporate gift.  Thank you DCH for your ongoing support and partnership for the last 20 years!

Board members Steve Sacksteder, Jordan Sherman, Eric Lane, and AJ Miles participated on behalf of the United Way of Daviess County Team!
